Radiography and Active Interrogation

Superconducting linacs use a flexible pulse to identify contraband and shielded nuclear materials in truck and train cargo. This new technology can revolutionize port security, making the way we search cargo safer, quicker, and more cost effective.

Free Electron Lasers

These superconducting linacs can also produce free electron lasers for defense. The linac creates a high powered, adjustable laser at wavelengths that have never been produced before. Cost for manufacturing is extremely low because the technologies and materials are already being used for other commercial applications.
