Mobility and Autonomous Technology

Driving Innovation in Lansing, Michigan

More than a century has passed, and Lansing remains at the epicenter of all things mobility. From R. E. Olds Motor Car Company in 1904 to General Motors’ newest assembly plant in 2006, Lansing’s advanced manufacturing runs deep in the region. Today, as the world moves forward into new technologies, we’re leveraging our community’s history, our technical skills and our know-how to help an increasingly diverse range of industries become competitive players in the dynamic international marketplace.

Just a day’s drive from half the population of the U.S. and Canada, and within an hour and a half of the state’s other largest metros, namely Grand Rapids and Detroit, the advantages of having a business location in Lansing set us apart. Lansing provides an excellent transportation network, a skilled and plentiful workforce, logistics-friendly infrastructure and the expertise of world-renowned Michigan State University and nationally ranked Lansing Community College.
