LEAP received $5.5 million of federal CARES Act funds from the state of Michigan through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to develop a program to provide working capital grants to eligible small businesses and nonprofit entities across Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties who are continuing to be impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
The state of Michigan launched the MSBRP to provide relief for small businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. LEAP facilitated MSBRP loans and grants through the MSBRP program on behalf of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties.
