What is your business/idea?
Consulting that assists businesses with marketing, branding, concept & idea development, fundraising, along with specialty workshops for leadership development and team building.
What inspired you to start a business?
The things I shared are things I have done for years for friends and family who have gone into business. When the pandemic hit and I was home for 8 months, I helped colleagues by grant writing, and assisting them with pivoting their business models to meet the demands faced because of the pandemic. I did this free of charge and I loved it. That inspired me to start my LLC The Dunfield Group, so that I could spend time doing what I love.
How did you get to the point you are today with this business/idea?
Researching and just talking to friends about what I was looking to do and that is how I found your program.
What is your vision for the future of your business?
To be an integral part of an already grate landscape of local businesses that make up our city. My focus is on creating healthy workspace that are diverse and inclusive – making up people from all walks of life and experiences. I want to help build people as I build my business and secure a future in working with local business, government, nonprofits and in academic spaces as well.
What goals do you hope the One and All program will help you achieve?
Getting all of the important pieces in place so that I am able to do business well. It’s often a matter of great training, information and the right mix of mentors who have already done well where I am attempting to go. I would love for it to also connect me to the program in a way that I am able to come back and give to those who will be a part of it in the future.
