What is your business/idea?
Honey Bun Bakery is a passion project to bring different and exciting twists on family favorites to the market.
What inspired you to start a business?
Baking has always been a passion of mine since before I could remember. Through the years I’ve had more and more people come to me for something sweet for their special occasion, sometimes with “out of the box” flavor combinations. It became such a great experience that it became all I could think or talk about!
How did you get to the point you are today with this business/idea?
I honestly would not have been able to be here if it wasn’t for my amazing support system, mainly my number one fans: my partner Byron and best friend Pam. Without them, I would NOT be here today, and I owe them everything.
What is your vision for the future of your business?
I want my business to be a place where people can come to enjoy a delicious treat, a wonderful cup of coffee, and feel like they can be themselves. I want the bakery to become a place where people seek out comfort and peace, but are also able to have fun with family and friends.
What goals do you hope the One and All program will help you achieve?
I hope the program will make me more confident in my craft. Not just with the baking, but all of the behind the scenes business stuff that people don’t really see. There’s a LOT to take in by being a business owner, and I sometimes don’t even know where to begin.
