‘Hatched’ Features 11 Hatching Finalists to Compete for $10,000

Hatching finale to take place at the University Club of MSU on Nov. 30

LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) and Spartan Innovations invites the community to the Hatching finale, “Hatched,” held at University Club of MSU in Lansing.

When: 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 30, 2016

Details: ‘Hatched’, the Hatching finale, proudly presents the 11 monthly Hatching finalists of 2016 in a business pitch competition like no other. Enjoy food, drinks and networking while you cheer on these budding entrepreneurs as they pitch their business ideas to win the $10,000 grand prize.

During the Hatched event, five local entrepreneurial resources organizations will be presented with a RING (Regional Innovation Network Group) grant to help support local business startups in Clinton, Ingham, and Eaton counties. This year, LEAP is awarding a total of $15,000 in RING grants, which are completely funded by LEAP and its membership.

The 2016 Hatching finalists include: Austin Piwinski, GoSpot; Tapan Kataria, UChef; Jordan Vanderham, Orindi Ventures; Hailey Willett, Spiked Bean Exchange; Connor McInnery, Alex Meverden and Max O’Connor, Bubbly; Anna Song, Friends Host; Amber Addrow-Pierson, My Car; Rodrigo Araujo, Milk Cash Project; Dylan Draper, K&K; Edward White, Pylon; and Oshan Weerasingle and Ben Buscarino, Horizon.
