About Julie
Julie Pingston, CDME, CMP, CTA is the President & CEO for the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau. She has been with the GLCVB for 28 years and became CEO in March 2020.
The mission of the GLCVB is to promote the region as a travel destination to impact the area’s economy. The region welcomes over 5.3 million visitors annually generating over $682 million to the local economy.
Julie serves as the community liaison for the tourism and hospitality industry to relevant issues related to Regional Economic Development, Regional Placemaking, Community Wayfinding, Agricultural Tourism, Cultural Tourism, Sensory Friendly Programming and International Tourism issues.
Julie is a graduate of Alma College in Alma, MI and resides in Holt, Michigan.
