LEAP Announces 2018 Officer Slate

LEAP Executive Committee Expands to Serve the Growing Lansing Region

LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) is pleased to announce the 2018 Officer Slate as presented and approved at its Board of Directors and Annual Meeting on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, in East Lansing, MI.

“I am looking forward to working with the outstanding team at LEAP and our dedicated board members in 2018, as LEAP continues its mission of advancing economic development for our region,” said April Clobes, incoming LEAP Board Chair and President and CEO of MSU Federal Credit Union. “Economic growth is vital for the long term success of the community and instrumental in our goals of growth and attracting top talent for our businesses.”

By a unanimous vote of the full Board of Directors, the 2018 LEAP Officer Slate, was approved as follows:

2018 Executive Committee Officer Slate

  • Chair: April Clobes, MSU Federal Credit Union
  • Vice-Chair: Edythe Hatter-Williams, CAMW!
  • Treasurer: Jim Robinson, Farm Bureau Insurance Company
  • Secretary: Daryl Adams, Spartan Motors, Inc.
  • At-Large: Steve Reynolds, AF Group
  • At-Large: Timothy Salisbury, PNC Financial Services Group
  • At-Large: Don McNabb, Triterra
  • At-Large: Deanna Swisher, Foster-Swift
  • Past Chair: Steve Curran, Harvest Creative Services

Notably, LEAP has expanded its At-Large seats on the Executive Committee for 2018 in an effort to address the needs of the organization and the region.
