LEAP Welcomes Brent Case as new Vice President of Business Attraction

LANSING, Mich. – This week, the regional economic development agency, LEAP will welcome experienced leader in international business, Brent Case, to its business attraction unit.  Brent Case will be responsible for leading LEAP’s national and international business attraction activities on behalf of the Lansing region.

Brent brings many years of economic development experience as well as private sector industry expertise most recently serving as the global development executive at TOC Logistics International, a global freight forwarder and supply chain management company located at the Capital Region International Airport. Additionally, Brent has worked with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation developing statewide advanced manufacturing initiatives and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and Capital Region Airport Authority to promote international trade while developing Port Lansing’s infrastructure and cargo programs.

“Brent brings 15 years of a deep set of experiences and skills in economic development to the already stellar LEAP team. He will be a tremendous asset to our business attraction efforts,” said Bob Trezise, President and CEO of LEAP.

I look forward to representing our region around the nation and globally and be part of the positive momentum Lansing has developed over the last 10 years,” said Brent Case.

Brent has a B.S. in Industrial Management and an M.A. in Industrial Technology & Management, both from Central Michigan University. Additionally he served in the military from 1988 to 1995 as a paratrooper in the US Army. He is a veteran of the 1991 Persian Gulf War and later served in the Michigan National Guard’s only Airborne Ranger unit while attending classes at CMU.

Brent has two sons, Austin and Ayden and resides in the DeWitt area.
