LEAP Welcomes Two New Team Members

Eric Pratt and Kris Klein Join the Business Development Unit at LEAP

LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members to its staff.  Eric Pratt and Kris Klein began their careers with LEAP on Monday, November 7, 2016.  Eric, Lansing Project Manager, replaces the position recently vacated by Gabriela Allum and Kris, Economic Development Specialist, is in a new position created to provide economic development assistance to businesses, developers, and community organizations across the region.

Eric comes to LEAP after serving as Project Manager for Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc.  In his role as Lansing Project Manager, he will work with LEAP’s local partners to assist in business expansion, attraction, and retention services within the City of Lansing.

Kris joins LEAP after working as the Outreach & Operations Coordinator at the South Lansing Community Development Association (SLCDA).  Over his six-years at the SLCDA, he managed projects focused on local food access and municipal finance.  In his new position, Kris will focus on the entire region.

“The addition of Eric and Kris to the LEAP team is another solid indicator of the continued quality standards expected by our LEAP Members.  Eric and Kris bring a new set of skills and experiences that will help shape and promote the culture of economic development for the Greater Lansing region,” said Bob Trezise, LEAP President & CEO.
