Nicole Whitehead is the business operations director for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and has over 15 years’ experience in economic development. Ms. Whitehead consults regularly with local economic development agencies, executives from national companies and consultant firms to promote Michigan. Ms. Whitehead currently heads the Michigan Build Ready Sites program, which includes training on the vetted sites criteria, responding to RFPs, importance of industrial sites, community awareness, site visits and data analytics.
