The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified public relations, communications, and crisis management firms to provide comprehensive public relations services for large-scale economic development investment projects (the Projects). The selected firm will serve as LEAP’s primary communications partner, developing and executing strategies to support community engagement, stakeholder management, media relations, and reputation management throughout the Projects’ lifecycle, with the goal to advance the Projects forward through various approval processes and stages.
Grants Program Manager (Fixed-term Contract)
Summary of opportunity: LEAP is seeking a Grants Program Manager (1099 contractor) to support the Capital Area Child Care Coalition (CACCC), a regional partnership working to improve the availability, affordability, and quality of child care across Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. This role is funded through the Regional Child Care Coalition Grant administered by ECIC via the State of Michigan’s MiLEAP department and will help advance key action plan priorities identified in 2023.
The contractor will play a key coordination and reporting role—helping manage grant deliverables, submitting monthly reports, supporting coalition communications, and assisting with meetings and implementation activities in collaboration with partners and an external facilitation firm.
