Michigan’s Free PreK Programs

What is PreK For All? “PreK for All is a quality prekindergarten preschool initiative that is open to ALL Michigan children, and it is free for families who qualify.Michigan’s intermediate school districts (ISDs) are responsible for implementing PreK for All. Tri-Share

The MI Tri-Share Child Care Program is a workforce development initiative in which an employee’s child care costs are shared equally (three ways) among the employer, the employee, and the State of Michigan.   

It is designed to benefit families by reducing the cost of child care, benefit employers by aiding in employee retention and recruitment, and benefit child care providers by increasing their financial stability.

Great Start Regional Resource Center 

Mid-Michigan’s Great Start to Quality Central Resource Center provides resources, supports, and services for families and child care providers in Clare, Clinton, Eaton, Gladwin, Gratiot, Ingham, Isabella, Midland, and Shiawassee Counties.

Early On

Early On is Michigan’s system for supporting families with infants and toddlers (birth to age three) who have developmental delays and/or disabilities or are at risk for delays due to certain health conditions.
