Why Lansing?
After moving to Lansing to pursue higher education, it quickly became my home. For more than two decades, I have devoted myself to cultivating the area with innovative ideas and fresh perspectives.

What inspired you to start your business?
I reached a pivotal moment when I realized my passion for caring for children from a young age could become a fulfilling career. Determined to turn my passion into a reality, I eagerly pursued my license as a home childcare provider. Since then, I haven’t looked back. Fast forward 8 years later, I am now the proud owner of a thriving center, continuously motivated by my unwavering commitment to providing top-quality care. For me, caring for children is not just a job, it’s an opportunity to inspire and cultivate the next generation.

What is your vision for the future of your business?
My vision is to continue growing and establish a childcare facility in the Lansing area to address the childcare needs of the community. I also aim to inspire the next generation of leaders in the childcare industry and promote Early Childhood Education as a profession.

What goals do you hope the Elevate program will help you achieve?
My hope is that the Elevate program will help me acquire more knowledge and develop the skills that will enable me to thrive in the business world. I am excited for the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and top professionals.

As for childcare, I am committed to creating an exceptional experience for our children, families, and staff. My hope is that the Elevate program can help me expand to include before and after-school services, cultivate our outdoor classrooms and garden, and collaborate with local businesses in need of childcare services.
