About Kendra
What is your business/idea?
Takeout Takeout is an eco-friendly alternative to order delivery or takeout from your favorite restaurant. When you order, just select to receive reusable packaging (on our future website/app/partner site). Then you can either drop the reusable container off at one of our partner locations or schedule a pickup from home or office. Our goal is to create a circular economy by providing affordable and convenient solutions for businesses and consumers.
What inspired you to start a business?
I wanted to create a more inclusive model for sustainable living. So often the better alternates for our health and the environment are more expensive or inconvenient. I believe using less shouldn’t cost us more and should be accessible to everyone.
How did you get to the point you are today with this business/idea?
I’ve always been conscious of my health and the environment around me. I have made lots of little changes in my personal life over the years to improve my health and the environment. Now I am ready to share what I have learned and to help others achieve their goals.
What is your vision for the future of your business?
My vision for the future is to obviously expand into other areas. I would love to also help those not in the restaurant industry to achieve their goals towards sustainability.
What goals do you hope the One and All program will help you achieve?
To officially be up and running by this summer. Also to network and meet other like-minded individuals to bounce more ideas off of.
