About Quiana
I am Quiana Davis-Lewis, Owner and CEO at DMCS. I am a Psychotherapist, Organizational Consultant, and Educator Resilience Coach (hoping to prevent burnout and compassion fatigue).
I work within multiple environments with youth, young adults, and educators from an array of diverse backgrounds. I currently serve in capacity as a high school administrator. I work from a multicultural perspective with a professional lens that is person-centered. I have supported districts and organizations with program implementation & continuous improvement efforts to increase overall community climate and culture to enhance workplace culture. I have coordinated youth groups for at-risk youth, with emphasis on Social Emotional Learning and career development. I have served in capacity as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Educational Consultant, and Implementation Specialist. I work with individuals utilizing the resources available in their communities to meet their unique needs. I work collaboratively with clients in order to reach the best solution suited specifically for them and/or their organization. I am dedicated to giving unconditional positive regard through inclusion and equity.
My education is as follows: An Associates in Criminal Justice; A Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety Studies with concentrations in Family and Community Services and Behavioral Science; A Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. I am trained in Implementation Science, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Trauma- Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Anger and Behavior Management for Youth, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Techniques, SAFE Place Sexual Minority, Substance Abuse Counseling, Spiritual Counseling and Holistic Practices.
What inspired you to start a business?
I have observed an ongoing need for Emotional Intelligence among varies groups of people. I feel this could be key to greater sense of individual purpose, effective collaboration, and healthy workplace cultures (particularly child caring institutions).
What is your vision for the future of your business?
I am currently launching an integrated learning suite to merge my skills in mental health and education to educate and grow communities of youth service workers that will positively impact all stake holders.
What goals do you hope the One and All program will help you achieve?
I am hoping to grow my thinking and understanding of business needs to clarify my plan of action.
