What inspired you to start a business?
The very first was being able to create generational wealth for my children and family. It also created an outlet a safe space for me to express myself. COVID just hit and I was sitting at home wondering like the rest of us about the future. I knew a plan B was needed and the time was NOW (at that time 2020) I saved everything I could to have enough capital to start, two years later in 2022 my business baby was born.
What is your vision for the future of your business?
Expansion of products: I would like to introduce more than just Scrubs. Eventually adding more medical apparel and accessories. Enhanced Customer experience: More of a hands on website that will enhance the shopping experience by adding virtual try-ons and 24/7 chat support. Sustainability initiatives: Currently Hub of Scrubs provides after-pay as well as payroll deductions through facility contracts. In the Future I would like to add Scrub packages to my direct and indirect online customers. lastly, Community Engagement: I would like to build a relationship within the healthcare community as well as other professions that utilize Scrubs. Getting their input on what they would like to see in Scrub attire and applying their concerns to eventually create my own Hub of Scrub brand Collection, that will hopefully fill the need in what’s missing in the Scrub Uniform world.
What goals do you hope the One and All program will help you achieve?
The goal that I’m looking to achieve with the program is how to effectively structure and run my business properly. Gain knowledge on the finance side of business to properly book keep. What tools are needed to maximize advertisement to gain as much exposure.
