Before joining LEAP, he served as Communications Manager for the U.S. Department of State’s Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) Initiative, highlighting groundbreaking work by innovators in over 130 countries.

With a degree in cinema production and certifications in advanced social media strategy and storytelling for startups, Genesis has a deep passion for uncovering the human element in every story. At LEAP, he supports media relations, digital strategy, and content creation—strengthening LEAP’s voice across platforms and building connections that amplify the region’s growth and talent.
