With more than 25 years of experience in administrative and operational support roles, Laura brings a strong foundation in organization, collaboration, and service to the LEAP team.

Laura spent 19 years in non-clinical healthcare operations at Sparrow Hospital, where she supported complex processes in a dynamic, high-volume environment. She also held Administrative Coordinator, Finance and Project Manager roles at Michigan State University, working on STEM-related programs and managing projects funded by National Science Foundation grants.

Originally from Keshena, Wisconsin, Laura is a proud enrolled member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians, as well as having Menominee and Oneida heritage. She has lived in Michigan for more than 35 years and calls the Lansing area home. A Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) for Lansing, she is deeply committed to community engagement.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, thrifting, spending time in nature, exploring new restaurants, and most importantly, being with her family—especially her daughter and four grandchildren.
