As Vice President of Business Attraction at the Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP), Emma Bostwick plays a pivotal role in driving regional prosperity by fostering business growth and supporting the local economy with a client-centric approach. She leads initiatives to attract and retain businesses of all sizes and works closely with municipalities, community organizations, and stakeholders to create a robust, sustainable business ecosystem in the Lansing tri-county region.

Emma’s key areas of focus include facilitating business integration into the Lansing community, with a particular emphasis on child care, housing, public transit, talent acquisition, and workforce development. By serving as a liaison between the business community and regional resources, she helps connect companies to critical support services, while also working to strengthen the area's infrastructure and quality of life.

Emma holds an associate degree in Political Science from Lansing Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Social Relations and Policy from James Madison College at Michigan State University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Leadership & Organizational Dynamics degree at the University of Michigan-Flint. With a diverse background in both the public and private sectors, Emma brings a wealth of experience and a collaborative approach to her work at LEAP.

Emma, originally born and raised in Flint, moved to the Lansing area. When not working, Emma enjoys playing soccer, reading, and consuming an exorbitant amount of coffee from local cafes.
