Metro Place Apartments – Former YMCA Site

Located on the former downtown Lansing YMCA site, Metro Place Apartments will add 145 apartment units to the downtown community in 2020. This development brings new life to an underutilized site in downtown Lansing using the Brownfield program.

Community Impact

This development will help increase availability of housing in downtown Lansing, which in turn will spur activity and business demand along the downtown corridor. the Metro Place Apartments also help redevelop a blighted and vacant sight through use of a Brownfield plan, breathing new life into an obsolete, blighted site and getting it back on the tax rolls.
