LEAP Celebrates One & All Cohort 13, Marking Six Years of Entrepreneurial Impact
After 13 cohorts and 212 participants, LEAP looks ahead to the next generation of small business support in 2027
LANSING, Mich. — (September 24, 2026) — The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) celebrated 13 local entrepreneurs completing the 13th and final cohort of One & All, concluding a six-year program that has supported 212 aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs across the Lansing region.
The program is funded through LEAP’s Small Business Support Hub in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and championed by Senator Sarah Anthony. Participants receive targeted business support and a $1,500 seed grant to help move their businesses forward.
Based on 2025 data, LEAP small business program participants and alumni contributed to 529 full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs created, including 197 full-time employees, $30.78 million in outside investment, $40.13 million in business revenue, 813 new products or services launched and 76 brick-and-mortar business locations opened or expanded across the region.
“One & All has shown what can happen when entrepreneurs have access to the right knowledge, resources and relationships at the right time,” said Bob Trezise, president and CEO of LEAP. “As we celebrate this final cohort and over 200 entrepreneurs who have been part of the program, we’re also looking ahead. We’re taking what we’ve learned through One & All and using it to shape an even stronger approach to supporting entrepreneurs across our region.”
Launched in August 2020, One & All is a 10-week program providing aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with business education, coaching and connections to help build a strong foundation for their businesses.
“These entrepreneurs came in ready to learn, ask questions and really dig into their ideas,” said Jazmin Anderson, director of small business & equity programs at LEAP. “In 10 weeks, you can see the shift. They’re clearer, more confident and better prepared to take that next step. Getting to watch that happen again and again over 13 cohorts has been incredibly special.”
The final One & All cohort comes as LEAP prepares to launch a new initiative through its Small Business & Innovation (SBI) team in early 2027. Building on lessons from LEAP’s past small business programs, the new initiative will expand how entrepreneurs across the Lansing region connect with resources, support and opportunities to grow.
