Lansing, Mich. (May. 4, 2026) — The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) celebrates the 12th cohort of its One & All entrepreneurship program, equipping aspiring business owners with practical skills in planning, marketing, and financial management while helping turn ideas into sustainable ventures that strengthen the Lansing region’s economy.

The One & All program supports entrepreneurs in building sustainable businesses and expanding access to opportunities. This work highlights how targeted small business support drives measurable economic growth, with 927 clients served, 146 companies formed, and 58 new brick-and-mortar expansions in 2025. Together, these efforts generated $40.6 million in client revenue.

Funded through LEAP’s Small Business Support Hub in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and championed by Senator Sarah Anthony, the program provides targeted support and a $1,500 seed grant to help move businesses forward.

With this cohort, the program has now supported more than 200 entrepreneurs, building a growing network of alumni shaping the local business landscape. LEAP President and CEO Bob Trezise said programs like One & All play a vital role in driving smart growth. “Supporting entrepreneurs is foundational to local wealth building and enriching the character of our communities toward a stronger, more resilient regional economy.”

“The biggest change for me has been clarity and confidence,” said Amina Mohamed-Saleh, founder of Village & Bloom Doula Care. “One & All helped me define my ‘why’, strengthen my messaging, and better understand how to structure and grow my business in a sustainable way. I now feel more prepared to step into this work intentionally and build something that truly supports families.”

Jazmin Anderson, LEAP’s director of small business and equity programs, spoke about the experience of working with this cohort.

“I’m incredibly proud of the fifteen participants in One & All Cohort 12. Week after week, they showed up dedicated and eager to learn, gain clarity for their businesses, and set themselves up for success. Reviewing their executive summaries and watching them pitch their businesses in 99 seconds, I could see how much they’d developed as entrepreneurs and how clearly they could communicate their offers.”
