Asia Monet is the CEO of Paint With Monet art studio on the east side of Lansing. She finds art to be fun, expensive and therapeutic. She host private paint parties, beginner art lessons, sells Togo Presketched art kits and rents her space out for small events. She specializes in beginners painting and looks forward to teaching others, making them feel comfortable, buildings their confidence in Art and Helping them express themselves creatively. She has a passion for connecting with the youth through her small business.

What inspired you to start a business?

I’ve always been interested in art of all kinds but never took it seriously. When the Covid-19 pandemic started, I began using painting as my way to cope with my anxiety and I quickly grew to love it! I wanted to share my love for art with everyone. I began having small parties out of my home until one day a friend of mine hired me to host her daughter’s birthday party. What started out as a personal escape, emerged into my small business. My goal was to inspire others, young and old, to explore their creativity, feel confident in their work and realize that any hobby or skill can become a meaningful business with hard work and dedication.
