My name is Britt Houze, I am 36 years old and am originally from Detroit. I have lived in Lansing since 05 attending Michigan State University. I started BHouzeOriginals back in 2015, with just a few t-shirts and a hoodie which has blossomed into a robust inventory of various items. The brand is centered around highlighting originality and all of our designs showcase individuality and being yourself in some way shape or form.
What inspired you to start a business?
I have always wanted to meet the challenge of starting and running a business because I learned it’s always a good thing to have something for yourself, however I had no clue where to start. Our original I Am Me design came from a tattoo idea that I chickened out on getting but instead turned it into a whole brand.
What is your vision for the future of your business?
To be one of the biggest, most reputable small businesses ever. By increasing customer reach, sales and being a bigger player in the business communit
What goals do you hope the Elevate program will help you achieve?
To learn as much as I can, to learn and have access to all of the resources available, build long lasting connections and make a bigger name for myself and my business.
