LEAP Welcomes New Tri-County and Placemaking Manager

LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) is pleased to announce the addition of Dillon Rush, current Executive Director of CharlotteRising, to the LEAP team. Rush has accepted a position as LEAP’s Tri-County and Placemaking Manager, a position previously held by Josh Holliday who has left LEAP for a new position as marketing director for the new Lansing Ignite professional soccer team.

LEAP wishes Josh well and could not be more excited for him and the team! Josh gave everything he had to LEAP for the last two-years and did an outstanding job. We are equally excited by the addition of Dillon Rush who will officially begin working for LEAP Monday, Oct. 29, 2018.

Dillon is well-known across the region, but for those who don’t know, he has been deeply involved in the leadership of many economic development efforts in the City of Charlotte over the last two-years as Charlotte first became a Rising Tide community, and then a Michigan Main Street community. Dillon has touched everything from organizational development, downtown projects and developers, placemaking projects and initiatives, façade programs, fundraising, events and on it goes.

Dillon is a graduate of the University of Michigan, a “Ten Over the Next Ten” Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce nominee and is a “Conservation of the Year Awardee” for his teamwork with Hayes Green Beach in the development of a farm-to-market, walkable/gardening neighborhood concept. Dillon is also a great athlete and musician.

Dillon will soon be worrying night and day exclusively about being a ceaseless advocate/project manager for our regional communities within the Tri-County area (Outside of Lansing/East Lansing), our Ingham County contract and for all of our LEAP Placemaking programs.
