Kelsey Abner is a Senior at Michigan State University studying Supply Chain Management with a minor in Global Public Health and Epidemiology. Kelsey is a member of the Honors College, the MSU 2023 homecoming court and she is committed to both academic excellence and community service and involvement on MSU’s campus. Kelsey is the community service chair and treasurer for On The Rise and a Wielenga Research Scholar where she conducts research on maternal and child health as a professorial assistant. Kelsey currently serves as the President for the Epsilon Epsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is a member of the Supply Chain Management Association as well as the Golden Key International Honor Society. Her goal is to work in the healthcare field where she can make an impact to improve access to equitable and affordable quality healthcare for all people in this country. She ultimately wants to help shape policies and practices that eliminate the disparities that exist in communities of color and the less fortunate. She was recently accepted into the University of Michigan's School of Public Health where she will begin her masters degree in healthcare management and policy in the fall of 2024.

Kelsey joined LEAP in March 2023 as a Medtech Research & Strategy Fellow where she was key in developing Michigan's Health Core. She now serves as a Marketing Research Intern to support the regional growth team.
